GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - Isaac Hatch, a district fire coordinator for the Department of Parks and Wildlife in Western Australia. arrived five weeks ago as part of an inter-governmental exchange program to learn how Americans manage fire - specifically at Grand Canyon National Park.

Hatch discovered many similarities between American and Australian fire management programs.

Cyclists to race steam engine in Man vs. Machine race Sept. 26
TUSAYAN, Ariz. - Cyclist will be going head to head with a 1923 300 ton steam engine on a grueling 54 mile race.

The race will start at the Grand Hotel in Tusayan and will finish on historic Route 66 in downtown Williams on Sept. 26.
