GCS to offer summer school classes
Deadline to enroll May 17

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - Grand Canyon Schools will again offer summer school for elementary and middle school students who need extra time to work on their skills.

This year, Grand Canyon High School will also offer a high school online summer school with a teacher facilitator. Any high school students who need to catch-up on credits or who want to get ahead on credits will be able to participate.

High school computer on-line classes will begin June 4-29. Transportation for high school students is the responsibility of the students. Sessions begin at 8 a.m. to noon Monday though Friday.

Elementary and middle school classes begin June 11-29 from 8 a.m. to noon from Monday to Friday.

Transportation will operate one bus to Valle Airport Trailer (Piper Ave. and Enstom Rd) with a pick up time at 7:05 am, and a stop in Tusayan at 7:45 a.m. in front of Café Tusayan, beginning June 11. The afternoon route will drop students off at Café Tusayan at 12:25 p.m. and 1 p.m. at Valle Airport trailer.

Meals are not provided during summer school, so it is advised that the parents provide a snack for their students and that they have a good breakfast at home.

All summer school offerings will be subject to number of enrolled students by May 17.
